How do I know the Bible can be trusted?我怎么知道圣经是可信的？
1. It is historically accurate.
Good history has the following attributes:圣经中历史的准确性，包括了以下的要点：
a. Eyewitness accounts of authors - Moses, John, Matthew, Peter etc.
圣经书卷的作者都是亲身眼见、耳听。
b. Archaeological findings confirmed eventually - Solomon's horses
最终的考古资料证明。
c. Extreme care in copying - Current text based on Maseratic Text which is around 1000 years later than Dead Sea Scroll (discovered much more recently), but other than minor name spelling changes, none has changed.

The Bible contains real people and real places, as it is the Word of God, it must be consistent.

3. It is prophetically accurate.

4. It is thematically unified.

6. It has survived all attacks.

Voltaire, a famous atheist once said "One hundred years from my day there will not be a Bible in the earth except one that is looked upon by an antiquarian curiosity seeker." but his house is now owned by the Geneva Bible Society! One can don't believe the truth, but the truth remains as the truth.

7. It has transforming power.
圣经有改变人的力量。Law doesn't change lives, but the Bible does with no condemnation in Christ Jesus, freeing us to fulfil the purpose God has planned for us.
律法并不会带来生命的改变，只有神的话语通过耶稣基督的救赎，不批判我们、让我们可以自由地完成神所预备的目的。

I try to understand the Bible's verses as it is plainly written. We can ask the Holy Spirit to convict the verses and its meaning to us, and pray that the word will come to life within us. Be careful not to be dogmatic about our own interpretation but hold fast to what is plainly commanded. God, You revealed Yourself through nature but we are blinded; You revealed Yourself through the Bible and yet we are hardened to believe it. May people come to know You, know and experience Your love, and be free from the bondage of the world.
我在读经的时候都会尝试以最浅白的方式了解经节。我们可以求圣灵在我们读经时启示经节中的意思，也可以祷告祈求真理在我们之中真实地活着。我们要小心不要因为自己的偏见而以为是真理，只要紧紧抓住基本的真理。上帝，你从远古到如今都已在大自然中启示自己的存在，我们却视而不见；你如今也已经通过圣经启示我们，我们却硬着心不愿意改变、相信。但愿人们认识你，了解并感受你的爱，从世界的捆绑解脱。
