Astronomy Festival

Today I went to a play titled 'Passion of Christ' in the gardens of the Government House, Perth. It is eye-opening to see real-life portrayal of the whole story that I am quite familiar with.

Then I went to Astronomy Festival organised by Astronomy WA http://www.astronomywa.net.au/ in Curtin Stadium. They have so many telescopes lined up for us to try at night! Well, I don't know if it is the limitation of the size of telescope but the planets that can be seen are quite small. The most exciting thing was being able to see the 3 moons of Jupiter.

And they have someone from Perth Adult Lego Association!

A live video from telescope on moon

This is what I have been working as - Carpet Technician, fancy word for me who lay out the carpet tiles for the stadium and pick them up tonight just now.
