CNY in 4 Days!
This morning just as I was driving through Morsjaya Commercial Centre to send my sister to school, I saw so many people at the stalls. Probably that is because people who work outstation or study abroad have come back for Chinese New Year. Everyone is busy preparing, buying ducks and chickens, and some fish as well. However I seldom see people around my age or younger buying things together with their mother, maybe they are working? Or haven't wake up yet? I enjoy just walking through the crowd and watching people bargaining, looking at some never-seen vegetables and talking to people if possible. Well, not too crowded though, as I don't like to be pushed and squished around...^,^
As I was driving to work, I saw a lot of houses have put up their set of 2 red lanterns in front of their main door. I remembered the lion dance group used to use that as an indication that someone must be celebrating Chinese New Year when we were walking from house to house. I haven't put up those for my place though, maybe on Saturday haha.
