Since the first day you set your mind to gain understanding & to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, & I have come in response to them. Daniel 10:12b
God always hear your prayers. Ever since the first day that you prayed God responded. We might not be able to see with our physical sight, but God gives answer as soon as we begin to pray (Daniel 9:23). So why we need to keep on praying if our prayer is heard the first time we said it?
Look further down the passage of Daniel 10:1-14:
13: But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia.
A spiritual warfare is waged. We continue on to pray as the war is fought. However, this great authority that is given to us is here for us not without condition, humility. God will always listen since even the unjust judge will listen in Jesus's parable (Luke 18:1-7), how much more the only just judge in the world will listen?
