Too Bored in KLIA2. Reflections of Travel

Sometimes travelling alone is quite fun. You get to meet different people and also experience the joy of bumping into people you know unexpectedly. You get to talk to the random guy sitting next to you, the grandma who is bringing the granddaughter back home, the corporate lady who shares same table with you in Burger King, and the law student who is returning home for CNY celebration.

I see it as a micro-representation of life. You meet and make friends in each season of life. Like what I learnt from Young Adult cell yesterday, God does place different people in different season of life to lift us up. I like how this sound: He places people in your life in each season whose destinies are meant to intertwine for the season.

Sometimes travelling is also a bit like us waiting for things to happen in life. Waiting, not in a passive sense, but a keep-on-walking kind of active waiting. You see, I think today I sat and walked the most since the beginning of the year, sat to wait, and walked from the furthest international terminal of KLIA2 to the furthest domestic terminal of KLIA2. While walking along, from K1....to K10, then I started to see isn't it the same as our lives? We keep on walking to wait for something, you saw the faces of those who reached, and you wonder when is your turn. Frankly saying, I think I won't know, but I know God has led me so far and He will continue to lead me on. I have fought the good fight, I have ran the path, I have kept the faith. That, is what keeps me going on.
