I haven't. Yes, I know Him and I trust in Him. But, I haven't got God all figured out.
He is crazy. No?
Leaving the comfort of heaven
Leaving the perfect relationship in the presence of God the Father and the Holy Spirit
Leaving the all-knowing independent existence
Coming into the grieving earth
Coming into the misunderstood, scorned, betrayed existence
Coming as the body of a foetus in a womb
"He is out of his mind" Mark 3:21
He breaks our old paradigm of who God is and how God should behave
He breaks our conformation
When we want Him to do things our way,
When we expect Him to do things according to our idea of a god,
We get disappointed,
We are hurt
Sometimes, we stand,
Wave our fists at Him,
Shout out "Why! God!"
Like the time He was deliberately late for Lazarus.
Honestly, I don't know why
Didn't I say, I haven't got Him all figured out?
Our expectation clashes with His revelation.
All I can do is trust His goodness,
The goodness that brought life to my body,
The goodness that brought life to my soul and spirit,
And surrender. Romans 5:3-4
I allow Him to take down the walls of burden
And He replaces it with streams of peace
Know what,
He might not have planned to save the wedding at Cana,
But, because someone He loved presented this problem to Him
And trusted Him,
Water turned into wine.
He is crazy. Isn't it?
