When you dot? When you dash?

Decided to go to Perth Royal Show. Always liked the dog show section, and always managed to go on the day that large dogs are on show! Oh man! These large dogs are so adorable!!!!!!!

A stout Akita

Fluffy Samoyed

Dumb dumb looking St. Bernard

Bored Alaskan Malamute

Beautiful Bernese Mountain dogs

Uh...why are you taking picture of me...uh...don't care...

The next thing that I enjoy the most in the Royal Show is the exhibition. This year it features the deep sea resources
A not-so-clear underwater camera, I tried to control it from a joystick

A very interesting sponge, called the Venus Flower Basket. Each one of these houses a pair of shrimps that made it their home for life. When they mate and small shrimps are born, the small shrimps will come out from the holes in the web-like structure and find a new sponge to live in as a pair.

Another section that I enjoyed is the heritage trail. I am always fascinated at all the old machines that people used to have to make farm life easier.
A log-cutting machine

Steam engine

The friendly steam engine operator

Blacksmith working on a horseshoe

Morsecodians at work

Receiving my message:
When you dot? When you dash?

Came across this cosplay stall near the train station entrance. A supersaiyan was there! And I saw Ichigo's hollow mask, Akatsuki robe and various Bleach characters' swords.

Next must see for me, the army exhibition. Last year used to have rifles and rocket launchers on display and can try to hold it, this year there is no rifle, so a little disappointed.

Remember those rub-on tattoo?

And finally, the entertainment section.
The volunteer throwing up the knife.

Jamie the unicyclist juggling 3 different things.

Titan the Robot dances and sings, and also cries with water squirting out to audience.

A very convincing robot!!! I wonder how much goes into the suit and how hot it is to be in there!

This year's Royal Show is still quite good despite the same old thrill rides (so I didn't ride any of them), although there is one new ride - the Zipper, but from what I see it is not as fun as the Skywalker, which I tried two years earlier.

I enjoyed the Titan presentation, and the exhibitions I mentioned above are good and informative. I bought some showbags to give away to relatives when I go back home end of this year.

When you dot? Dot to pause and ponder the wonderful things in life and awful things that make you grow.
When you dash? Dash to move forward and seize the opportunities in life without holding back to comfort zone.
