A Stroll

It is a good day, with bright sunny weather and nice temperature. Off I went into city, taking bus 37.

Stopped at St. Georges Terrace, walked past the gigantic sculpture for St. Georges Cathedral. Is it supposed to be the spear of St. Georges?

Walking up Barrack St., looking at menus on restaurants, deciding what to have for lunch. How about Pepper Lunch? Hm, a not-so-new idea of sizzling cooking but just try. So I ordered the most basic beef and rice with an extra egg, how can you not have egg? It came pretty fast, with the familiar sizzling sound and peppery aroma, and the oh-so-awesome egg, yummy. I would say the taste is just so-so but maybe the other steaks will be nicer to try.

Then, walked up to PresoTea and had a cup of Shizuoka Gyokuro, refreshing. Holding the cup in hand, Leisurely walked down to PCEC, had a browse in the Down Under Expo and left with nothing more than some brochures and IELTS info. Don't want to go back yet. Hm. Maybe I should try to find the Gundam store my housemate told me about.

So, I walked up to Hay St., and looked for hobby/comic/manga shops, amazingly there are at least 3 of them, and the store that my housemate told me about is the last one, called Tokyo Underground, ironically not so underground, but on the 1st floor, through a side door in an alley way. It has the cheapest Gundam models I think among the shops that I have been to in Perth, but I still didn't love it enough to buy one home. Maybe it is the sense of want to collect a whole set, maybe, ah...why there is no HeavyArms when the other four are there, why...

Satisfied with looking at all the models, I decided to head back. Yeah. A nice stroll in the city. I still like Perth more than Sydney, it's leisurely pace is nice for a weekend stroll. It's people are relatively friendlier, and not as crowded. Well, initially I thought it will be my date with myself, but guess what, met 3 different groups of people in PresoTea alone, hah. Maybe I am too Asian, a Malaysian Chinese, had lunch at a Japanese restaurant, playing game on a Korean phone, with a Taiwanese drink in hand.
