Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting is going to be held in Perth from 28th to 30th October 2011!

There are a series of events happening in Perth, some of which I hope to attend provided I have the time and energy capacity to do so, as it is after my design portfolio submission.

Well, I only listed those free and minimal cost events, being a poor international student from an economically developing region, (lol...that's the official descriptor of 3rd world countries), those are the events I can afford to go!

People's Space - There will be markets and performances, "exotic" food I quote ^.^ The performances will be at these times: Wednesday 26 October, 12:15pm
Thursday 27 October, 2:30pm
Friday 28 October, 12:30pm and 5:30pm
Saturday 29 October, 12:30pm and 5pm

Films - Wow! There is a film on How to Start Your Own Country! Helpful guide *wink haha. And also films from SE Asia talents like Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. 

British Museum aftefacts - It will be hosted in WA Museum and entry by donation.

Canning Stock Route aboriginal arts - Hosted in PCEC, it features an exhibition of WA desert region through photography, film, painting, sculpture, cultural artefacts, Dreaming stories, and multimedia. 

Nomad Two Worlds - Along Hay St Mall and Murray St Mall, arts to showcase WA's diversity. 

As all of these are happening, Christians from around the world are praying for the governments and Commonwealth Prayer Initiative is organising events for the churches in Perth as well.

Zion Praise Harvest is participating in the Opening Nation's Celebration on Thusday 20th October and Asian Night on 25th October 7pm. Christians are to be light of the world, so let us shine and pray for our governments for peace and joy of the people of the world. And as a combined effort, ZPH is allocated to specifically pray for Dominica besides our prayers for other countries. Dominica is a little island nation that needs to have a sustainable economy and to have a stable government.
