Day Out Day In

Hah, it is not called day in day out for a reason, cause I went out in the morning and stayed home in the afternoon. Lame. And, I just knocked my head on the door when I went to toilet, sien, must be sleepy d.

Well, today it was great fun with Association of Malaysian Students as we went for a paintball game and a really short picnic after that. It is actually my 3rd paintball game, and it is the best so far, the place is nice and the company is great. I am also very proud to announce that I shot 5 people and I did not get any shots on my body, the two times that I got eliminated were because the paintballs hit my googles goggles and my marker (which is the paintball jargon for the gun), wahaha...Although, only playing FPS games most of the time has taken its toll, there is no OHD for paintball...too used to look up and find where the shots came from (COD4 MW) haha. This is where we went, Action Paintball, a bit far, but transport and lunch is included by AMS, which is a great deal for $35!

Serpentine Falls is a little bit disappointing, where the fall just really trickles down as compared to the pouring awesomeness of Malaysian falls, and there is so much human intervention to the site that it is almost unnatural, something to take note of when desigining for natural reserves.

On the way back, I had a chat with a friend that I knew from my classmate last year but never really get to talk much as I only met him during a dinner with my classmate. It is great to know that not just me who thinks that someone certainly need to take action to take care of our beloved country. Malaysia is my country, my home, and I grow up in it, I have friends and family there, and I will only ever call this one country home. Looking out to the flat landscape with just a bunch of tall towers in the CBD area, I am reminded that I am in Perth, a temporary place. I am here to learn and to grow, a place that provides opportunities to let me be a better person, a person who I would never be if I stayed back in Malaysia. But, it is this person that can think better and have the vision for a better society in Malaysia.

There are still a lot of things that I still need to learn to put down and to spend more time on meaningful things like making friends and keeping in touch with them. I am not a diplomatic person, I will just be silent most of the time as I really don't know what to say most of the time; well, that is something to learn as well. It is our tuition free week, and I am looking forward to spending time for beneficial things ^.^

Eh....midnight already! Sleep...a good rest is needed, for tomorrow is almost a full day out.
