The night sky never cease to amaze me no matter how many times I have looked up into the sky full of little lights shining through so many lightyears to reach the Earth. I have always thought that the sky is so mysterious, what is above all the lights? They are there, actually, were there, because they are so far away that the lights from the stars take so long to arrive that by the time that the light from the stars arrive at the Earth, the stars might be already dead. Astronomy, isn't it a study of the past of the sky?
This month, there will be venus visible in the northern hemisphere, but I am not sure as to whether the southern hemisphere will be able to see it or not? It is the brightest star accompanying the sunrise and the sunset of each day, and because of that it is called the Morning Star and the Evening Star.
