"If the solar system was brought about by an accidental collision, then the appearance of organic life on this planet was also an accident, and the whole evolution of Man was an accident too.
If so, then all our thought processes are mere accidents - the accidental by-product of the movement of atoms. And this holds for the materialists' and astronomers' as well as for anyone else's.
But if their thoughts - i.e. of Materialism and Astronomy - are merely accidental by-products, why should we believe them to be true? I see no reason for believing that one accident should be able to give a correct account of all the other accidents."
Are your thoughts now random spouting from random electronic and chemical interactions in your brain?
Creationism should be considered scientifically viable. Both creationism and evolutionism rely on assumptions and certain biases to found their explanations and interpretaions. But sadly people just disposes off creationism as evolutionists often relates creationism as being illogical and related to religion. The problem with that is of course evolutionists themselves are subjected to their faith in the Earth is an Old Earth and they try to interprete every evidence to agree with that, which is not scientific at all.
I agrees with the account of the creation in the Bible:
Creatures are created to their own kinds (kinds are not species). These kinds then varied according to their environment (process of natural selection - note: this is different from the evolutionist's view of adding genetic information, but rather is a lost of information). These newer generations are more specific than their parental generations. Founder effect may dictates how animals in isolated populations differs from the rest of the world as new isolated population with fewer genes are left to breed amongst themselves, thereby differentiating them from the rest of the population.
Genetic drifts in population work against mutations. When there is a large population, there is a higher chance of mutations but since the population is so large, any mutation is flushed out in a couple of generations; the contrary is a small population, the mutation will stay, but less chance of mutations occuring.
Creatures are created perfect. Imperfection entered the world as sin is first commited. DNA deteriorates very rapidly, and errors in copying causes malfunctions in tissues. There are cases put forward as puzzling when the scientists discovered intact DNA in supposed billions of years old fossils. If you view it from the Young Earth theory, it is possible as the fossils would have formed a few thousands year ago.
Fossils are formed under rapid process as soft tissues such as jellyfish are often uncovered. These fossils can only be preserved under catastrophic conditions such as the great flood that is dictated in Genesis. Sedimentation can quickly form under huge amount of water.
Radiometric is based on 3 assumptions to date a certain material, and they are not subjected to careful analysis.
- There is constant amount of radiometric material all along
- There is constant rate of decay
- Predicted amount of initial and final material
Hydrogen bond is a specialised bond that causes water to have different properties from the other molecules. It is lighter when it is solid, thus allowing ice to float and insulate rivers to allow organisms to stay alive under the ice. Hydrogen bond is also the primary bond that exists in DNA structure.
Therefore, I believe that there is a ultimate designer to the universe, and I am not just writing here because of randomness in the universe. If I am writing out of randomness, then all these wouldn't make sense, just how high is the possibity of all 26 alphabets + SPACE + all these punctuation string together to form this piece of blog by chance?
